The Durham Farmers’ Market hosts several seasonal events including our Tomato Tasting Day, Halloween Vendor Costume Contest, and much more. These events are designed to be fun, educational, and help connect food-lovers of all ages to local food.

Family Field Day!

Join us for an old-school, family-friendly field day event hosted by The 360 Approach a wellness studio located adjacent to Durham Central Park. There will be fun, challenging games for every age and prizes will be awarded. Don't miss this community event and creative workout outfits are encouraged!

Cast your vote in the Ugly Veggie Beauty Contest! Contestants will be donated by our farmers and the event will be a fundraiser for our Sprouts Kid's Club at the Market. Learn about cosmetic related food waste, have a few laughs, and support a great cause all in one morning!
