History: Castlemaine Farm is the home of Brian and Joann Gallagher, located near Snow Camp, NC in Southwestern Alamance County. 2008 will be our 5th growing season. We grow fruits, vegetables and chickens for eggs and meat.

We pride ourselves on giving our customers only the best produce from our fields. Freshness, quality and our dedication to sustainability are what separate us from the supermarkets and big box stores. We use no chemical fertilizers, herbicides or synthetic pesticides. We keep our soil healthy through crop rotation and cover cropping. We control weeds and pests primarily with our hands. We raise chickens on pasture with the use of floorless, movable pens and portable net fencing. We feed them an all-grain, antibiotic and animal byproduct-free feed, and give them the best life a chicken could possibly have.
