History: Sunset Farms is a multi-generational sustainable family farm located in Southern Alamance County. Gary and Wanda Murray began the direct marketing of produce in the Chapel Hill area in the early 1980's. Since that time our operation has grown to provide a wide array of seasonal vegetables and fruits, beef and pastured poultry. Chris, Gary and Wanda's son, recently returned to the farm with his wife Jamie Brie to partner with Gary in the management of day to day operations.
