PARKING AND STREET INFORMATION

The market is located at 501 Foster Street in The Pavilion at Durham Central Park. 

Parking can be found on the street around the market, in the parking lot on the corner of Hunt and Foster Street (across from Rise Durham and Urban Durham Realty), in the Ballpark Parking Lot on Corporation Street, and in the Measurement Inc. lot, 423 Morris Street (look for the Durham Farmers' Market parking sign). Handicapped parking is available near the corner of Hunt and Foster as detailed in the map above.

There are also public parking lots along Foster Street and on Morgan Street near the Carolina Theatre. 

ANIMAL POLICY

Please note that the Durham Farmers' Market does not allow dogs or other pets in the market area during market hours. Service animals are exempt from this rule. Leashed pets are welcome elsewhere throughout Durham Central Park.

SLOW BURN

Excited to say I’m now an official vendor at the downtown Durham Farmers’ Market. Slow Burn will be attending Wednesday markets this year 3-6pm with flowers, veggies and pyrography by yrs truly. My focus, in part, is to continue preserving and merging the flowers I grow with woodburned botanical illustrations. Lots more flower presses and pressed botanical art will soon be avail.

I’m honored and grateful to be a part of this market. To have the opportunity to steward land and people respectfully and give when there is abundance. To practice vulnerability and to make art that’s aware and honest. To serve with love.

HURTGEN MEADOWS

Our pesticide-free and naturally grown strawberries will be available on Wednesday and Saturday at the Durham Farmers Market. 

We will continue to have a selection of our plants for your home gardens including tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, vine crops, herbs and flowers. Please bring a box or bin to transport your garden plants home safely. 

Farm goods available this week for your menus: sweet onions, lettuce, green garlic, kale, chard and jam, and we will happily accept returns of your glass jam jars.  Thank you! 
 

LOAF

Located in the heart of downtown Durham, NC, Loaf focuses on hearth baked sourdough breads and pastries. What started out of a backyard brick oven, as a hobby to share with friends and neighbors, very quickly grew to a stall at the Downtown Durham Farmers Market, and settled as a brick and mortar shop in 2011. Throughout the years Loaf has expanded it's offerings, and partnered with local growers, and makers to provide you with as many seasonal treats from right here in the NC Triangle.

TULIP POPLAR HONEY

Sheri Gant's bees fly from a sunny spot on Karen Woods Road just outside Chapel Hill, collecting nectar in the spring from the many plants blooming on her family's property and on an adjacent tract of Duke Forest. Tulip Poplar honey, very slow to crystalize, has a red-amber color and a mild rich flavor with a caramel undertone. 100% beeswax candles are unscented, clean-burning, and longer-lasting. Lotion bars made with beeswax, plant butters, and oils provide concentrated moisturizing.

Bull City Farm is a family owned and operated farm in Northern Durham Co. We raise all our livestock outside on pasture and feed only non-GMO feeds. This week we'll have pork cuts and Dog Treats from our mangalitsa hogs, sausages and cuts from our Black Spanish turkeys, chicken cuts from our lovely Freedom Ranger broilers, lamb from our St. Croix hair sheep and our multi colored eggs from our heritage breeds on hens.
