We are grateful that all of our Asheville team is safe and healthy, but our hearts are broken as we think of the lives lost, the families displaced, and the countless people whose homes, businesses, and lives were washed away by Hurricane Helene. Many of our neighbors in Western North Carolina are still reeling from the destruction, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to get people in immediate need assistance. 

**Support Beloved Asheville and Relief funds: You can donate directly to Beloved Asheville, which is on the ground assisting those in the hardest-hit areas.

 **All of our Asheville team members were directly impacted by the hurricane and/or displaced from their homes. We’ve set up a GoFundMe to provide immediate relief. Every bit helps. The good news is everyone is safe and healthy.

We also need your help to keep Botanist & Barrel going so that we can continue to support the relief effort.  Support us directly by purchasing a Botanist and Barrel gift card or come out to support our Cedar Grove location open Thur-Sun.  Every purchase helps us stay in business and enables us to dedicate more time, resources, and energy to the relief efforts. Our farmstand at the cidery is a collection site for those that wish to donate items. 

We are also hosting our Annual Apple Fest this Saturday 11am-5pm and will be donating proceeds to relief efforts. 

We know times are tough, but even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way.

Bull City Farm is a family owned and operated farm in Northern Durham Co. We raise all our livestock outside on pasture and feed only non-GMO feeds. This week we'll have pork cuts and Dog Treats from our mangalitsa hogs, sausages and cuts from our Black Spanish turkeys, chicken cuts from our lovely Freedom Ranger broilers, lamb from our St. Croix hair sheep and our multi colored eggs from our heritage breeds on hens.

TULIP POPLAR HONEY

Sheri Gant's bees fly from a sunny spot on Karen Woods Road just outside Chapel Hill, collecting nectar in the spring from the many plants blooming on her family's property and on an adjacent tract of Duke Forest. Tulip Poplar honey, very slow to crystalize, has a red-amber color and a mild rich flavor with a caramel undertone. 100% beeswax candles are unscented, clean-burning, and longer-lasting. Lotion bars made with beeswax, plant butters, and oils provide concentrated moisturizing.

About Ninth Street Bakery: Determined to change the bread landscape, Ninth Street Bakery was founded by two brothers in 1981 fresh from a stint baking at the Tassajara Zen Center with monk Ed Espe Brown. They brought with them recipes for wholegrain goodness and a mind for doing good works in Durham.
